Healthy Chocolate Rice Cakes (Allergen free recipes)

Healthy does not have to be boring. This recipe is a take on the traditional rice crisey treat but with none of the refined sugar.  This takes 10 minutes to make. I use Ombar coco Mylk which has no dairy and is delightful.

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate, honey and butter over hot water in a bowl mixing constantly

    Add the rice crisps cereal and stir well until all the rice crips have been covered in chocolate

    Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases

    Put all the rice cakes in a pan cover and place in the freezer for an hour

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of brown rice crisps (best to use an organic brand that is sweetened with unrefined sugar)
  • 4 tbs manuka honey
  • 2 tbs of grass fed organic butter ( you can also use coconut oil)
  • 2 small bars of of raw chocolate or 3tbs raw cacao powder
  • Small cupcake cases
