1) what is the best advice you have been given on parenting?when everybody was advising me and making me feel even more insecure as a new mum  my Teacher told me « No matter what people say and from which good intention they’re coming from, remember that NOBODY will ever know better than you. YOU are the Mother and your instinct toward your child will never be wrong »
2) what are your kids’ favourite foods? Pasta, Pizza and Gelato! :-) We are 100% Italians!

3) what is your favourite meal to cook for the family?I love cooking wild brown rice mixed with some colourful vegetables served with roast chicken cooked in the oven with just some rosemary leaves and half glass of white wine for a yummy juice! Everybody loves it!

4) what three items do you always have in your bag when out with your kids? water to keep them hydrated, fruits and nuts as healthy snacks and water wipes to clean the mess!

5) Conscious as much as I can, Wild and Free and « all for one, one for all »

6) what have you found to be the hardest part of your motherhood journey? i married my husband in only 6 months, we moved to London after our wedding and i got pregnant right after. I felt really alone and scared in this new roles in my life. I was also the first in our group of friends to have children and I didn’t have much support in the most difficult days. The support of the community is fundamental. For a woman before conception, during pregnancy and after birth. The lifestyle of our society, especially in cities like London, has changed so much that women are left isolated and alone in the time they would need it the most.

My daughter Greta has a very strong personality and opposite to how my mother described her own experience with me, so I tended to take all her behaviours personally, as if I wasn’t doing things right.  Also surrendering completely to the sense of responsibility you feel towards those little angels, it’s a process that takes some time and experience and of course being sleep deprived. But everything passes and nothing is better!

7) what is the best part of motherhood? the best part is watching them grow, observing their resilience, their determination to succeed in whatever they’re trying (from breaking eggs in front of you to climb somewhere impossible to read the first words etc), seeing them smiling, feeling their love for us and yes! My favourite is to watch them jumping on the bed!  I think children are our greatest teachers and we should always love and respect their nature!
