The Yellow Chicken

The yellow chicken. Some of the tastiest parts of the chicken are inexpensive.  The legs and the thighs are my favourite and there are generally more affordable. This is a quick easy one pan recipe for busy families and individuals. You can serve with Basmati rice or cauliflower rice. Enjoy xx

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with everything. if you have time is best to let it sit in a fridge for an hour or overnight. However this is not necessarily the chicken is still tasty without this. Put chicken and all the spices in a casserole pan or a pan of your choice place in a preheated oven for about 30mins at 180 fan . Turn up the heat for the last 10 minutes to make sure that the chicken skin is crispy remove the chicken from the oven, to rest for about 10 minutes and serve with the basmati rice or cauliflower rice 🍚

  • 6-8chicken thighs 5 tablespoons of coconut oil 1 tablespoon of Turmeric 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Two large onions sliced Some fresh thyme springs Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
