Fun at Legoland

It is set to be one of the hottest days of the year so far and me and my
boys are super excited to be heading to Legoland near Windsor. To be
honest I think I am more excited than the boys. I did a modelling shoot
there for ITV a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised as to how
“totes amaze balls” it was: I couldn’t believe that we had yet to visit
such a magical place for kids – so with that, arrangements were made,
complaints about missing THE rugby (or was it Cricket….) were ignored
and Legoland here we come…

The fun facts:

Legoland is very easy to get to – it took us just under an hour from
central London. There is also a sign-posted scenic route that avoids a
lot of the traffic and gets you there quicker.
There really are rides and attractions for every age group.
If you don’t fancy queuing the Qbot is your friend. A neat little gadget
that allows you to save your place in line whilst you’re off having fun
elsewhere allowing you the option of jumping straight onto your chosen
ride when you’re free.
Lots of places to eat with the kids
Lego Hotel is also on site and is a great idea if you fancy doing the
park in two days (a good idea if you want a more leisurely pace – there
is A LOT to see and do, or if you just don’t fancy driving back the same
day.)

Our favourite things:

We love the train rides (mainly because it saved us walking down then up
the hill…)
The fairy tale boat ride and DUPLO valley

But really the best sign of how good it was is that the boys (even the
big one who is in his 30’s) keep asking when can we’re going back to
Legoland… Job done Xx
